Bless Their Hearts Mom: Product Review: Blackout EZ Window Covers

When you work nights, it can be hard to sleep during the day, due to the amount of light coming in your windows. If you were raised to get up by 830 in the morning, you know exactly what I mean, when I say when a certain amount of light hits those windows, your body will wake you up!

So we've always tried to get curtains with liners and blinds, on all our windows, to keep out as much light as possible. Yet, we still get ALOT of light in- as you can see by this picture.

o when I heard about the new Blackout EZ Window Covers that?keeps 100% of sunlight out of a room for sleeping during the daylight hours, and were customizable, I knew they might be a great solution for us! The?blackout window covers?come in pre-cut sizes of small (36" width x 48" length) and large?(45" width x 66" length), and in customized sizes. For those of us with 'in the window' ac units, this is agreat, as you can work around the ac unit! You just cut off any width or length you don't need. Easy Peasy! The covers also come in different color combinations of white or black, as well, to better match your needs. ?

For my window, I received a customized length, as we have the long older home windows. The covers come with their customized hook and loop tape, to make installation a breeze. It took me all of 8 minutes to install the cover, and most of that time was peeling off the backing covers for the hook and loop tape!?

WOO HOO! It has made a HUGE difference in my sleeping- no more waking in the morning hours! And the room? Cooler! Seriously! Since installing the ONE cover, the ac has had to work less, and the room has stayed about 20% cooler, easily!
