The Sony Xperia Z Ultra, the massive, almost tablet, phone from Sony has been confirmed to be launched worldwide recently. Not to be left too far behind, especially since Hong Kong will be getting the same later this month, an online retailer by the name of Saholic has started listing the phone as being available starting from July 31st. The price, however, has not been mentioned. Though given that the Hong Kong version is going to retail for around $799, we can expect it to retail at around Rs. 47,500.

The phone features a massive 6.4 inch TFT LCD screen employing the Triluminous display technology. The number crunching will be done by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core running at 2.2 GHz, under Android 4.2. The internal memory will be 16 GB along with a microSD slot supporting up to 64 GB cards. The graphics department will be managed by Adreno 330 GPU. The system RAM will be 2 GB. The phone will also sport an 8 MP rear shooter and 2 MP front cameras. A 3,000 mAh battery will be providing the juice to keep the giant chugging.
