Tight end Chris Cooley did not participate in the final practice of minicamp (Redskins coach Mike Shanahan called off the Thursday practice) because of a "slight hamstring" Shanahan said. Earlier in OTAs Cooley dealt with a slight groin issue. But Shanahan said the one positive is that Cooley?s knee continues to show no signs of swelling. Nor has he needed to have any fluid drained.

"Tomorrow, what we?re going to do is when the players get in, they?ll get in around 7:30-8 a.m., we?ll work out until about 9 a.m. and we?ll run and we?ll lift," Shanahan said after Wednesday?s practice. "Then, we?ll have a couple hours of film, but we?re not going to practice tomorrow afternoon. "We?re a little banged up. We?ve done a heck of a job throughout the offseason, all these OTA?s. HomerMcFanboy " deangelo hall plans to talk less, play more
While some fans see him as a Pro Bowler, a team captain and one of the only players who can consistently create turnovers, others see him as "MeAngelo" ? a selfish player who was run out of his two previous places of employment and who is capable of creating controversies at the worst-possible times.
POINT - COUNTERPOINT - Redskins Defensive Line | Fanspeak Washington Redskins Blog
The Redskins defensive line looks to be arguably the best unit on the football team next to possibly the linebacking core. I think Shanahan has done a strong job adding both talent and depth to this positional group. Having Barry Cofield and Stephen Bowen back for their 2nd season should make them better. Add the resigning of Adam Carriker and most importantly the addition of Jarvis Jenkins back from the ACL, and I really think this is the backbone of the team right now.

Pierre Garcon and Josh Morgan, a Virginia native, are two play-makers who want the ball in their hands, and the Redskins haven't had starting receivers combine for more than 10 touchdowns in a season in 9 years. If these two commodities can crack the starting two with a fresh face throwing to them, there's a good chance that hapless streak could be snapped.

RG3 Report | Washington Examiner
On Wednesday, Robert Griffin III continued to learn lessons that should help him come August and beyond. Like: Make sure you see the defensive backs in the area. It bit him a couple weeks ago and it did the same Wednesday. Griffin ran a bootleg to the right and corner DeAngelo Hall knew exactly where he was going with the ball as tight end Fred Davis ran a crossing route. So Hall left Pierre Garcon and jumped the route, making an easy interception.

NFL's most improved team: Hail to the Redskins?
"With RG3 and some other playmakers in tow, Washington thinking big in 2012 At a time when offseason grades are really nothing more than predictions of anticipated potential, it seems sensible enough to suggest any team that has added a possible franchise quarterback has the most to gain. That said, since the Redskins also are among the teams that added some real weapons to an otherwise stagnant offense, I'd say it's equally sensible to expect far more from this team in 2012.
