The Virden Oil Capitals defeated the Winnipeg Blues by a score of 6-5 in the Showcase game held on Thursday at the MTS Centre.
Their Showcase game tonight at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg will be against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
Back at Tundra Oil and Gas Place things are relatively quiet.
Of course if you are a Skate Virden figure skater or one of the large group of people who use the Sports/Walkng Track or a member of the Fitness Centre everything is as busy as always.
Tundra Oil and Gas Place will be closed on Monday, October 8th, for Thanksgiving Day so be sure to make use of the facilities on the weekend.
