Blonde Fletch to fetch the Gain Feeds Yorkshire St Leger ? Heat 4

The Gain Feeds Yorkshire St Leger ? Heat 4 has brought together six talented hounds who will race over 661 metres flat at Doncaster on Friday, 24th August. The ?150 prize money has attracted Total Respect, Blonde Fletch, Swabys Princess, Ballintine Molly, Derrane Jake and Coolykereen Dip.

The most promising entry for the race is the four-year-old, Blonde Fletch who has been the quickest quite a few times ever since the new season dawned.

His first success of the season was in the Greyfox Racing Stables Trophy on 17th May, 2012 at Oxford over 645 metres. The favourite entry did get crowded after leaving the stall but then took charge from the fifth position concluding the track distance in 39.96 seconds.

He won the race by the margin of 2 ? lengths.

For the next five races, Blonde Fletch won a race after losing one thusly winning twice through the six outings.

The black hound then won the Coral Regency ? Heat 6 on 31st May, 2012 at Hove over 695 metres. The favourite candidate of the race set into an early pace after exiting the fourth gate, he raced by the rails and then ran on from the second position timing the track distance in 41.70 seconds.

On 19th June, Blonde Fletch won the Ladbrokes Stayers at Oxford over 645 metres. He was slow at the beginning of the race and then pulled up from the fifth position timing the track distance in 40.01 seconds while winning by the margin of four lengths.

Finishing the closest to the winner was, Curragh Kewell, who settled the track distance in 40.33 seconds.

The last six races of the Mark Wallis trained have stood by a certain benchmark as he won thrice and qualified as the runner-up in the remaining.

He won he Brandon Stayers on 15th July, 2012 at Coventry over 672 metres. The favourite entry was done racing in 41. 63 seconds and led by 2 ? lengths.

Blonde Fletch then won the Summer Stayers Trophy on 22nd July, 2012 at Coventry over 672 metres in 41.44 seconds.

The most recent success of the four-year-old was in the Chip Leaders Krystal Stayers Stakes on 21st August, 2012 at Sittingbourne over 642 metres. His chances of winning the race tonight are 6 to 4.
