GROUP SALES MANAGER - Copps Coliseum & Hamilton Place (Hamilton, ON)

Status:?? Full-Time

Summary:
To manage, supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the Group Sales Department; to schedule and book groups for facility events; and to provide highly responsible staff assistance to higher-level management staff.

Qualifications:

? Degree from accredited college/university preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
? Min. 2-4 years sales management experience preferred
? Strong management, motivational & organizational skills required
? Strong listening skills and oral and written communication skills
? Prior management experience must have a focus on training and leading a sales team
? Ability to travel as required
? Willingness to work beyond normal business hours as required, based on event calendar

Responsibilities:

? Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of all Group Sales programs and activities
? Develop and implement all aspects of sales plan
? Develop and implement revenue and expense budget for sales department
? Develop sales reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as requested by management
? Accomplish sales goal for Group Sales department
? Plan and coordinate theme night promotions and special events for corporate executives, businesses, fans, and all applicable customers
? Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
